Yes - I do enjoy calorie counting, purely for the fact it allows me to know exactly where I am and where I need to get to !


However! It can become mundane and let’s face it we don’t what to do it forever. It’s very beneficial in short periods of time, but once you’re in that routine we should (and our body) should begin to recognise portion sizes and we should start to eat intuitively! 





Ultimately I would want everyone to manage their food (calorie) intake without thought - recognise hunger and fullness cues, an extended knowledge of nutrition more than before, and starting to understand what works for you personally! 


At certain times you may need to track again - just to dial in a little, and that’s ok to do that if you’ve a specific goal in mind !
