Radiators and Drains !
Looking forward to another strong week with my team.
I love the positivity we have in-depth, I put something into perspective today with a chat with one of the team - great chat and we both got a lot from it. Talking about the “current state of affairs” the negativity surrounding us and how we can flip our mindset to see the good;
Your terrible job is the dream of the unemployed.
Your house is the dream of the homeless.
Your smile is the dream of the depressed.
Your health is the dream of those unwell.
Our take home from this should be don’t let difficult times make you forget your blessings.
We’re going into December - I’ve a strong team with Positive Mental Attitude, I firmly believe this is a two way street between clients and coaches.
You either surround yourself with Radiators or Drains.
Radiators are the kind of people who radiate energy and enthusiasm, and make you feel good when you spend any time in their company.
Drains often start a conversation by subtly (or not so subtly) criticising you.
They will get a strange kind of enjoyment out of drama, and conflict.
You’ll often hear ‘You’ll never guess what’s happened now!”
They will find reasons why you shouldn’t do whatever it is you were excited about doing.
Sounding familiar? By this point you are probably thinking of someone specific.
There are no drains in my team !
