ONE KEY reason why vegetables are crucial for our physiques.

When we talk about building muscle and fat loss I’d say the majority of us don’t think or talk about vegetables having such an important role. Yes we all know for building muscle protein, carbohydrates and fats are essential - BUT vegetables have a crucial role to play in how we ultimately look.





Our gut has a pivotal part to play - in particular how it functions in digesting the foods we consume, if we can’t absorb and assimilate the nutrients therein there is now way all the food we eat is going to give us optimum results!


We all know our “greens” are full of fibre, this fibre and the enzymes within vegetables are essential for a healthy gut and this will become very important if your diet is higher in protein, which if so may be slightly acidic.


Bottom line - if you aren’t consuming enough vegetables in your diet your fibre intake will be low, thus blunting your nutrient absorption!
